My prediction is that…

phasetoblack:

They are gonna give Movie of the Year to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2… And they are gonna give Best Kiss to Kristen and Rob (Breaking Dawn Part 1).

That way… the Harry Potter fans won’t be livid that their fandom didn’t get the award since it’s their last chance… and the Twilight fans will still get at least 1 award that they want.

And honestly… even though I’m more of a Twilight fan… I’m ok with this, I think it’s fair… cause Twilight still has another year but Harry Potter doesn’t… so they do deserve it… but… none of the other movies nominated for best kiss can top Edward and Bella’s wedding kiss.

The Avengers: Holly fucking Mjölnir!!!

unegirafe:

The movie is even more awesome, badass and funny that anything I had dreamed of, the story has a great rythm, I was so excited during all of it that  I could almost feel my spine devoloping a tail just to wiggle it.

And it’s nice to see a big action film with quality actors and actresses in it, everyone rocked.  I was very curious about Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk and he did a beautiful job.

Not to mention EVERYONE is smoking hot.

AAAAH!!! It’s just perfect, it is,it’s perfect, when Tony Stark makes the LOTR joke I felt I was going to die of happiness right there.

If you haven’t yet, you need to watch it.

MTV is total bullshit

I do not see any fairness in the MTV movies awards. Hunger Games should not be at all nominated for anything. It barley came out a month ago. I now people who hasn’t seen it yet! It seriously isn’t fair to any of the other nomination who has been out for a while. I know they probably took out Breaking Dawn because twilight usually wins, but putting it with Harry Potter, which its been out for a while and the excitement has gone down is really unfair.

This is how you know that MTV only uses their award show for quantity not quality (as in who is popular other than what is better). Seriously Hunger Games wasnt even a great movie. People need to stop putting it on a high pedestal. First of all, its a complete rip off of Battle Royale. Its nothing new there. Second the camera work sucked ass.

Also for the category for Best movie in 2012, only one movie is from 2012… and that Hunger Games… MTV did you know other movies came out this year also? better ones too.

I say, since The Hunger Games is nominated then The Avengers should be too. It has better characters, better graphics, better story, better everything. It even got a standing ovation for crying out loud.

MTV if you want to talk about best movies then maybe you should look at the best movies instead of picking movies because they are “in”. Way to hop on the bandwagon.

I also still cant believe that #MTVWEHATEYOU was worldwide trending yesterday. That says something. Im pretty sure that since the Twi-hards got it to trend worldwide, then MTV, you just lost a LOT of viewers. Probably the majority.

I was respectfully reading your opinion before you became super bitter. You had a point about THG being so fresh in people’s minds, but after that, you just became pressed. Battle Royale was not original either and aside from children in an arena, theyre completely different. The camera work that you claim “sucked ass” was an intentional artistic tool to place us in Katniss’s shoes. It demanded the audience to be part of the chaos. Now Breaking Dawn was definitely the best out of the Twilight Saga films. It had the best acting and the best production out of the other Twilight movies that have dominated these awards for the past few years (warranted or not) but you CANNOT say that The Hunger Games doesn’t deserve these awards nominations if the other Twilight films can take all of their awards. The acting in THG is beyond phenomenal and so was the cinematography. They captured the powerful plotline and they created a movie that was visually, intellectually and emotionally charged. I am a fan of HP, Twilight and obviously THG, so I dare you to say my rant is bias.
Sorry your favs didn’t do as well this time around

actually Hunger Games and Battle Royale have many similarity that probably will make someone dizzy. Everything about it is the same

similarities: 1)school kids 2)both of the main characters fall in love and escape by breaking the rules 3)idea of supply bags 4)similar unique deaths (boy and girl survive) 5)set in a dystopian world and have cruel gov’t 6)kids picked out in lottery & forced to kill each other 7)gamemakers vs forbidden zones (both lure kids together to kill each other)

Hunger Games is exactly the same as Battle Royale, same plot, same everything. A lot of other books have the same concept of kill humans like the Running man but its doesnt have the same plot like BR and HG does. only difference is that Battle Royale is better.

hunger games is just a Americanized kid version of battle royale. same story plot.

And as for the camera work, yeah it did suck. It may seem like its a form of an artistic tool to you but it seems like a low budget film to many others. Yeah its an artistic tool, to make people who easily get motion sickness throw up. You also cant see the fights. It an artistic tool to help cover the fact that the director was not good at shooting fight scenes.

I also dont mind Breaking Dawn not being nominated for many nominations. I think i said that at the beginning. I understand that they want to give other movies a chance to win since Twilight always wins. I dont mind at all. I dont know where you got the idea i was pissed that Twilight didnt get nominated. I especially dont mind since both Kristen And Robert are nominated for the Cannes Awards, which holds move value then popcorn thats golden.

And as i said before. Hunger Games should not at all be nominated, its wayyyy too early. Its about fairness.I not saying it doesnt deserve any awards, because i mean it does, im saying it doesnt deserves awards now. As i said there are many movies that came out the same time that were better. But no, It hunger Games, when its been only one month. It shouldn’t be nominated. And it was not “v
isually, intellectually and emotionally charged” especially when you couldn’t see anything since the camera moved around so much. And emotionally, no, i think the book has emotion, but not the movie. It didnt do anything. I didnt even cry when rue died. The movie was more of a disconnect feeling then the book. Also you’re killing a stranger not your bestfriend. It doesnt have that much of a strong emotion it should if you are kill someone. I like Hunger Games, but it shouldnt be put on a high pedestal when theres nothing that great about it like many fans are making it out too be. “Its the best movie”  No.
